Rep. Richmond Announces More than $1.3M in FEMA Funding for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank

WASHINGTON – Today, Rep. Cedric Richmond (LA-02) released the following statement announcing more than $1.3 million in FEMA grant funding to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank (GBRFB), for emergency protective measures undertaken during the historic August flooding:
“The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank played a critical role during a trying time for the Baton Rouge community," said Rep. Richmond. “We are at our strongest when we help those in need. I commend the GBRFB for bridging the gap for so many during their darkest hour. These resources will help the GBRFB recover and continue their vital mission of serving the people of Baton Rouge and surrounding parishes."
