Due to the large number of visitors, all tickets are provided to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. For information on sightseeing and attractions in Washington, D.C., please visit the Washington, D.C. Tourism Information page.

Please be advised that if you plan to request a White House tour, you will receive final notice approximately a week prior to your arrival in D.C. Please avoid including your travel date as part of your date(s) of availability unless you are certain you will be able to attend scheduled tours.

Requested Tours

U.S. Capitol tour requests can be submitted 1 month in advance. In the event that reserved tickets are not available at the time of your request, you may join the line for a walk-up tour; however, wait times may vary.

White House tours are in incredibly high demand and can be only be requested at minimum 1 month and maximum 3 months in advance. Please be advised that our office receives the highest volume of tour requests during peak season (April, May, and December). After we submit your tour request, the White House Visitor Center will send you a link to RSVP your group (which includes providing personal information such as name, birth date, social security number, and city of residence).

FBI tours can be requested at minimum 6 weeks in advance, and we will send you a form for you to fill out your personal information (name, birth date, social security number, etc.). Please note that all tours scheduled for the months of July and August are canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, and the FBI Education Center is still not accepting any requests for dates following September 1.
