As President Obama delivered his final State of the Union address, I was not surprised to hear more of the same tired rhetoric and failed policies that have marked this presidency. Over the past seven years, Americans have been subject to aggressive federal government overreach, which has impacted every aspect of their lives. Whether it be through more taxes, more spending or more regulation, the president’s policies have expanded the size and scope of government while stifling economic opportunity and limiting individual freedom.
