Enrolling in the Health Insurance Marketplace

Open enrollment for the health insurance marketplace started on November 1. If you are shopping for a new plan this year, here are some resources that you may find helpful. 

To find an enrollment assister near you, simply log on to HealthCare.gov and enter your ZIP code. 

The New York Times produced a flowchart with some guidelines on how to pick an insurance plan, which you can find here. 

The Kaiser Family Foundation built an interactive calculator that can tell you whether you are eligible for subsidies based upon your family's information.
