WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Senate Commerce Committee today unanimously approved H.R. 4742, the Promoting Women in Entrepreneurship Act, clearing the way for the bill to receive a Senate floor vote. The legislation, authored by Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty (CT-5), passed the House in March by a bipartisan vote of 383-4.
