2017 Presidential Inauguration Tickets

***Inauguration ticket requests will be accepted until Friday, December 16, 2016***

Inauguration Ceremony

The 58th Presidential Inauguration Ceremony will take place in Washington, D.C. on Friday, January 20th, 2017. Each Congressional office will receive a small number of tickets to be distributed to constituents.

My Washington, DC office has been and will continue to take requests for Inauguration tickets until 5:00pm EST/2:00pm PST on December 16, 2016. Requests for tickets submitted after this deadline will not be accepted. Please note that submitting a ticket request does not guarantee you will receive a ticket. If there is a large volume in ticket requests that exceeds our office’s ticket allotment, we will implement a lottery system.

If you are interested in submitting a request for Inauguration Ceremony tickets, please email Morgan.Leonard@mail.house.gov. In order for our office to place your name on our master list of constituents requesting tickets, the email must include: a group name, email address, and phone number, the number of tickets being requested, as well as the full name, street address, and city of residence of each member of your group.

Please note that you must be from the 32nd district in order to receive tickets from our office. We will be checking IDs in order to ensure that each ticket goes to someone who resides in a city within the 32nd district. If you are traveling with someone who is not from my district, please have them contact their Representatives to request a ticket. You can find your representative at http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/.

If your group is confirmed to receive tickets, please be aware that all members of the group must be present at our office in Washington, DC to pick up the tickets between January 17th - January 19th between 9:30am-4:00pm ET. Please account for security wait times to be around an hour to enter the Longworth building and plan accordingly. If your flight arrives on January 19th, it will need to land in DC no later than noon in order to have enough time to pick up the tickets. We will not be able to accommodate ticket dispersals the day of the Inauguration.

If you are unable to receive tickets to the Inauguration please note that crowds also gather on the National Mall to watch the swearing-in ceremony on Jumbotrons. While no tickets are required for this event, it does attract large crowds and requires security screening.

Other Inaugural Events

The Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) is currently being formed. The PIC is solely responsible for all other celebratory events including balls, galas, receptions, parties, and the official Inaugural Day parade. Congressional offices are not involved in any way in these events, and therefore my office will not be able to provide any tickets of any kind. There will be a limited number of bleacher seats for the Inaugural Parade which you can request through the PIC, whereas viewing from the sidewalk will be free and unreserved. While the PIC is being formed, any questions can be directed to the Joint Task Force National Capital Region (JTF-NCR) at 202-685-4542.
