Lujan Grisham Responds to Supreme Court's Immigration Ruling

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham released the following statement in response to today’s 4-4 ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court on President Obama’s immigration actions: 

“The deadlocked Supreme Court position is very concerning since it means that families will continue to be torn apart by our broken immigration system and millions will have to continue living in the shadows. It is clear that Congress needs to pass comprehensive immigration reform. Since Speaker Ryan refuses to even allow a vote in Congress, this issue is in the hands of voters who can elect leaders that champion our values and our fight for comprehensive immigration reform.”
