The United States is the leading producer of Natural Gas in the world. It is important that we continue to harness this energy and reap the financial benefits of it. As a member of Congress, I will continue to advocate an “all of the above” energy policy. We cannot let perfectly viable energy options fall by the wayside to promote only “green” energy projects. While we can continue to work towards green energy policies, we must also work towards energy independence with the proven energy sources including natural gas and coal.

Washington D.C.—Today, Congressman Tom Marino (PA-10) guided H.R. 3620, a bill to amend the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area Improvement Act, to unanimous bipartisan passage in the U.S. House of Representatives. This legislation allows access for certain vehicles serving residents of municipalities adjacent to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area (DWG) for five years.

“What I heard tonight was more of the same. The President got back on the stump and turned the spotlight on himself. Aside from his indignant tone, it seemed as if the President merely came to rewrite his record and further divide the American electorate.

Washington D.C.—Congressman Tom Marino (PA-10) issued the following statement regarding his opposition to H.R. 2029-Consolidated Appropriations Act or was has been referred to as the “omnibus spending bill”:
“I voted against this bill for many of the same reasons I voted against the budget deal in October. This is a massive spending measure with $50 billion in additional spending. America cannot continue this trend.
Washington, D.C. — Regulatory Reform, Commercial and Antitrust Law Subcommittee Chairman Tom Marino (R-Pa.) and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), both appointed as conferees by House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.), issued the following statement following the House of Representatives’ approval of the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation (FAST) Act:

Washington, D.C. — The House Judiciary Committee today approved the creation of a new title within the United States Code to better organize the nation’s environmental laws by a vote of 20-13.
Washington, D.C.—Congressman Tom Marino (PA-10) voted in favor of H.R. 702 – a bill to lift America’s self-imposed ban on crude oil exports. The legislation passed the House of Representatives by a vote of 261-to-159.
