WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Maxine Waters (CA-43), Ranking Member of the Financial Services Committee, sent a letter to Dr. Joanne Liu, International President of Doctors Without Borders, extending her deepest sympathies to the victims of the U.S. airstrike in Kunduz, Afghanistan, that killed 22 patients and staff within a hospital run by Doctors Without Borders. WASHINGTON – Today, Congresswoman Maxine Waters (CA-43), Ranking Member of the Financial Services Committee, sent a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry, expressing deep concern about Haiti’s 2015 elections and the impact they will have on Haiti’s future if the Haitian people do not perceive them to be credible.
