Congressman Messer applauds efforts to create simpler, fairer tax code

WASHINGTON--Congressman Luke Messer released the following statement in support of Ways and Means Chairman Dave Camp’s draft tax reform legislation unveiled today:

“Our tax code is broken, and I applaud Chairman Camp’s efforts to fix it.  The details will matter.  But, there is no doubt that a simpler, fairer tax code would help create a healthier American economy.  We need tax laws that encourage job creation and allow families to keep more money in their pockets.”
