Flag Requests

Constituents can request to purchase a United States Flag that has been flown over the U.S. Capitol Building. All flags are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Flags may also be flown on a specific date in honor of a particular person, event, or organization. A special dedication can be requested for the accompanying certificate.

Please be aware that flags flown over the Capitol on specific dates should be requested at least a month in advance. The processing and delivery of special flag requests may take over a month, depending on availability. It may take longer if you have the flag flown on a popular federal holiday, such as the 4th of July or Memorial Day.

Method of payment: We accept checks and money orders only.

Please note: No more than 4 flags (of any size or material) will be sold to each party. Also, it is unlawful to resell for profit any flags purchased through a congressional office. Flag orders will ONLY be processed if you are in Congressman Bilirakis’ district.
