Dunn), Sergeant at Arms from the state of Maryland; born in 1742; Assistant Doorkeeper, United States House of Representatives; elected Sergeant at Arms for the U.S. House of Representatives in the Tenth Congress and for the succeeding nine Congresses and served until his death (October 27, 1807–October 6, 1824); died on October 6, 1824, in Middleton, Md.; interment in Congressional Cemetery, Washington, D.C.
