WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Sean Duffy (R-WI) today sent a letter to President-Elect Trump, asking him to “take swift action to relocate our embassy to Jerusalem” as soon as he takes office. The bipartisan letter was signed by more than 100 members of Congress.

Included in House Passed H.R. 5931
Washington D.C. – Representative Sean Duffy’s (WI-07) Amendment to ban any future cash payments to state sponsors of terror, and North Korea, was included in H.R. 5931, Prohibiting Future Ransom Payments to Iran Act, which passed the House of Representatives on Thursday evening.

This week, many conservative groups came out supporting H.R. 4900, the Puerto Rico Oversight, Management, and Economic Stability Act (PROMESA), introduced by Rep. Duffy and developed by the Committee on Natural Resources. While work on the legislation continues, these groups understand the core bill represents a principled, responsible solution to the fiscal crisis in Puerto Rico.

Washington D.C. – U.S. Representative Sean Duffy (WI-07) joined his colleagues in the House of Representatives to condemn the terrorist attacks in Brussels, Belgium on March 22, 2016 which killed 34 people and wounded hundreds of others. After voting in favor of the resolution, Rep. Duffy offered the following comments:
Milwaukee, WI — U.S. Representative Sean Duffy (WI-07) met with Mexico’s Undersecretary for North America, Carlos Perez-Verdia, in Milwaukee today to discuss the impending plan to open a Mexican consulate in our state. For more than a year, Rep. Duffy and Sen. Ron Johnson have led the charge to bring a consulate to Milwaukee. The two lawmakers shared statements of strong support after today’s meeting:

This was a big week in the U.S. House of Representatives. We voted on the deal that President Obama and John Kerry negotiated with the Iranians. This is a horrible deal for America. It is bad for Israel, and it's bad for world peace. It is so bad that President Obama did not even negotiate the release for four Americans who are currently being held hostage by the Iranians - it is an embarrassment and it is a shame.
