Tipton Nominates Third District Students for Admission to U.S. Service Academies

Congressman Scott Tipton (CO-03) on Wednesday announced the names of 24 students from the Third Congressional District who he has nominated for admission to U.S. Service Academies. Each of the 24 students was selected following Tipton’s review of their application essay, academic record, letters of recommendation, and a complete panel interview.

“It’s a huge achievement to be nominated for admission to one of our service academies, and I want to congratulate this year’s nominees for their hard work and dedication. These students have demonstrated their academic commitment, they are individuals of extraordinary moral character, and I know their love of country will make them outstanding officers,” said Tipton. “Attending one of our service academies is an amazing opportunity, and I encourage anyone who is interested in applying for a nomination in the future to contact my office in Pueblo for more information.”
