My Next Stop? You Choose!

The 12th District is home to a vibrant community and bustling economy.

This February, I spent time touring the lifelines of our local economy. I visited businesses that manufacture everything from medical supplies to propellers and plane engines.

I traveled on Charlotte’s CATS System, and discussed the need to invest in our infrastructure alongside Department of Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx and Vice President Joe Biden. I went undercover at Central Piedmont Community College, one of the largest community colleges in the area, to witness firsthand the value of workforce development programs. At North Carolina A&T, I reiterated that same message while revealing the economic impact that these colleges have in our community.

I am excited to see where I’ll go next.
