Markey, and Congressman Richard Neal announced today that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded the Holyoke Fire Department a $1,069,048 grant through the Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) grant program.

Ford today announced a funding agreement on the recovery in Springfield that includes replacement of Cathedral High School and St. Michael's Academy on Surrey Road. These facilities were severely damaged during the 2011 tornado.
