Statement

Massapequa Park, NY – Congressman Pete King (R-Seaford) worked with the Villagra family to obtain humanitarian visas from the U.S. Embassy in Nicaragua for the mother and sister of Karla Villagra Garzon (who disappeared on February 23, 2014) to care for Karla’s two-year old daughter Valentina.

Unfortunately, after an extensive search, Karla’s body was found in a town near Elizabeth, NJ and her husband was charged with the murder.
