Water
Water is our most precious natural resource. All life on earth comes from it and depends on it. The availability of water means livelihood, economic development, poverty alleviation, security, health and agriculture. Its scarcity places us all downstream.
Our city has come to grips with conservation and so too must our country. We must fundamentally change our relationship with water and dedicate appropriate water recourses back to nature and the ecology. I strongly support the most aggressive conservation measures and will continue seek energy, infrastructure and environmental solutions that protect all types of water resources.
