2016 Congressional Art Competition

Each spring, a nation-wide high school arts competition is sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The Congressional Art Competition is a juried art competition and an opportunity to recognize and support the artistic talent in the nation, as well as in each congressional district. Learn more about the competition here.

The Congressional Art Competition is open to all high school students. The overall winner of each district will receive two roundtrip tickets to Washington, D.C. to take part in the National Reception and have their artwork be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol.

This is an opportunity for students to exhibit their work and take pride in their creative abilities as well as a way to promote the arts.
