Statement on Passage of Veterans’ Access to Care through Choice, Accountability, and Transparency Act

July 30, 2014
Press Release

Congresswoman Madeleine Z. Bordallo today issued the following statement on the passage of the Conference Report on H.R. 3230, the Veterans’ Access to Care through Choice, Accountability, and Transparency Act of 2014. The bill will be delivered to President Obama for enactment.

“The passage of H.R. 3230 is a positive step to addressing the challenges at the VA and improving access to health care for our veterans,” said Congresswoman Bordallo. “While this bill will not solve all the problems our veterans are having, it will help to alleviate some of the burdens they are experiencing. Much work remains, and I look forward to working with my colleague in Congress and at the VA to ensure our veterans receive the benefits they deserve.”
