Rep. McKinley Holds Constituent Meetings in Marion County

Washington, D.C.—Today, Rep. David B. McKinley, P.E. (R-WV) hosted several meetings with constituents in Marion County. McKinley met with city officials from Barrackville, discussed job training with staff from Pierpont Community and Technical College, and held a roundtable with students at Fairmont State.

“Meeting with people in settings like these allows me to listen and better understand how to serve West Virginia,” said McKinley. “We’ve made it a priority to spend time reaching all corners of Marion County, including small communities like Barrackville.”

Since being elected in 2011 McKinley has conducted nearly 70 meetings in Marion County with elected officials, business leaders, seniors, veterans and others.

“Whether it’s discussing the economy with college students concerned about their future or water projects with local officials, these meetings are extremely helpful in setting our priorities,” said McKinley.
