McKinley Announces Funding for Research to Help Children

Washington, D.C.– Congressman David B. McKinley, P.E., (WV-1) announced that WVU’s School of Medicine has been awarded a grant in the amount of $1,813,226 for pediatric research from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

“Investing in pediatric research must be a priority if we are going to continue to improve public health for our kids. This announcement is great news for our state because these funds will help provide WVU’s School of Medicine and the WVU Children’s Hospital with the tools they need to continue to advance their research in pediatric care,” said McKinley.
