WTRF TV: Coal supporters rally in Pittsburg

Hundreds of West Virginia coal miners, coal supporters, Governor Earl Ray Tomblin and Attorney General Patrick Morrisey are in Pittsburgh on Thursday as the EPA holds hearings on greenhouse gas rules.

On Wednesday, supporters joined Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett, Ohio Lt. Governor Mary Taylor, labor leaders and many others as they held an affordable electricity and energy jobs rally at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh. Wednesday's rally came a day ahead of the EPA hosting public hearings on its recently proposed existing source greenhouse gas rules. The hearings will be held in Pittsburgh on Thursday and Friday, and are one of several happening across the country. Thursday's hearing began at 9 a.m. and is taking place at the William S. Moorhead Federal building.
