Civil Air Patrol is a volunteer organization that performs search and rescue, missions, aerospace education, leadership education, and many others. Monday night West Virginia Congressman, David McKinley honored cadets as their keynote speaker presenting awards.

McKinley gave the cadets words of advice and encouragement in the Civil Air Patrol program. He also said only 15 percent of Civil Air Patrol cadets receive the honor of the Billy Mitchell Award.

Cadet Jacob Eubank, received that award Monday and he was also given the rank of Second Lieutenant.
