WBOY On Harrison County Visit

Congressman David McKinley was in West Virginia on Dec. 4 to speak with residents.

He returns home from Washington D.C. every weekend. McKinley said this helps him understand the perspective of his constituents.

"If Washington could only understand that their little beltway only represents a small portion of this country," he said. "The rest of the people are living under these rules and regulations and the impact of it. So that's what we do, sit down and hear what's on their mind."

McKinley also met with United Hospital Center representatives, to discuss new provisions from D.C. and what they mean for the hospital.
