PARKERSBURG - An information fair and roundtable to benefit senior citizens will be held 1-3:30 p.m. Friday at the Wood County Senior Citizens, 914 Market St.

U.S. Rep. David McKinley, R-W.Va., is organizing the first Congress Helping Seniors roundtable and will participate with representatives of numerous senior agencies and vendors.

From 1-2 p.m., vendors and representatives from the Department of Health and Human Resources in Wood County, Medicare and Medicaid, Social Security Administration, Legal Aid of West Virginia, Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department, Internal Revenue Service and AARP will be available.

From 2-3 p.m., McKinley and representatives from the agencies will participate in a Seniors Roundtable conducted by McKinley.

The event is open to the public.
