NASA’s Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution (MAVEN) spacecraft successfully entered orbit around the “Red Planet” late Sunday.

This week, officials with NASA’s Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) program in Fairmont who helped work on the MAVEN mission reflected on the milestone.

Charlie Broadwater was the IV&V project manager for the MAVEN mission.
