U.S. Rep. David McKinley, R-W.Va., says while he is disappointed in the slow response to the ISIS threat, he believes everyone should rally behind President Barack Obama and support his international effort to eliminate the extremist group.

ISIS presents a clear threat to the United States, pointing to the recent and brutal beheading of American and international hostages, McKinley said.

"I think we could have avoided that if we had moved more quickly," he said. "I'm disappointed it has been allowed to go on for so long."
