McMorris Rodgers Statement on Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

House Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers released the following statement in honor of Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

“Today and every day, we owe a debt of gratitude to our nation’s law enforcement officers, who put themselves in harm’s way to serve and protect. Like my friend Rep. Dave Reichert, a former Sheriff, often says, for our officers there is no off duty. They have a difficult, often impossible and thankless job. I’m grateful for the sheriffs and officers in Eastern Washington, the Capitol Police, and the men and women across the country who put on the uniform and do right by their communities.”
