Women’s Economic Agenda Town Hall Meeting
Women are the backbones of our families, and we know that when they succeed, America succeeds. Yet women continue to earn less than men. Women make only 77 cents for every dollar a man makes, a pay gap that begins the first year out of college and continues through a woman’s life.
Many of my colleagues in the House have joined together to push for a women's economic agenda, to address some of the unique challenges that face women in the workforce. Any policies we enact that provide support for women will also propel the American middle class, but in order to ensure we're fighting for the right changes, I need to hear from those who these policies will most affect. To that end, I invite you to join me for a town hall discussion.
