Service Academy Information Forum
Join Congresswoman Linda Sanchez at her annual U.S. Service Academy Forum. The U.S. Service Academies provide an educational opportunity that is at par with any one of our nation’s prestigious educational institutions. This tremendous experience is provided at no cost to the student and dually prepares our nation’s top students to serve in one of our nation’s uniformed services. After graduating from the academy, students will be commissioned for a minimum of five years as an active duty officer in the uniformed services.
Admissions officers, current and former students from all five of our nation’s service academies: U.S. Military Academy (West Point), U.S. Naval Academy (Annapolis), U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Merchant Marines Academy, and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy will be in attendance to answer questions and provide insight into the rigor and opportunity available. A member of the Congresswoman's staff will also be on hand to discuss Congresswoman Sanchez' nomination process.
Students, especially underclassmen, interested in applying to a U.S. Service Academy are highly encouraged to attend and to bring their parents to learn about each one of the academies. Deadline to submit an application for anomation is Friday, October 21, 2016 at 5:00 PM.
