Fighting the Waste of U.S. Tax Dollars Overseas

The United States has an unfortunate history of funneling billions of dollars overseas to countries such as Afghanistan, where corruption is rampant and many American-funded projects are never completed, never used, or fall into disrepair - all with little to no oversight from U.S. officials.  Below, you will find a list of news articles that chronicle this problem.  At a time when the national debt has reached an astonishing $17 trillion, we simply cannot afford to continue this type of irresponsible spending.  Please know that I will continue to lead the fight against the waste and abuse of taxpayer money overseas.
