Washington, D.C.  – House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), Regulatory Reform, Commercial, and Antitrust Law Subcommittee Chairman Tom Marino (R-Pa.), Small Business Committee Chairman Steve Chabot (R-Ohio), House Judiciary Committee member Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.), and House Judiciary Committee member Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-Texas) will hold a pen and pad session on FRIDAY at 10:00AM ET on the Regulatory Accountability Act of 2017 (H.R. 5), a major bipartisan regulatory reform bill. The legislative package combines a series of regulatory reform initiatives reported out by the House Judiciary Committee and passed by the House of Representatives during the 114th Congress. Members will discuss how this package and other priority legislation will help eliminate overly-burdensome red tape and regulations in order to promote more job opportunities for American families, innovation, and economic growth.
