U.S. Senators Cory Booker and Bob Menendez today announced $2.4 million in Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grants for improvements at two New Jersey airports.

“Modernizing New Jersey’s airports is vital to our economy and the safety of air travelers,” said Sen. Menendez. “These essential investments will provide necessary upgrades to infrastructure and improve the experience for New Jerseyans when they travel.”

"Federal investments in modernizing our local airports are not only critical to maintaining the safety of the traveling public, but also to increasing New Jersey’s economic competitiveness,” said Sen. Booker.  "Taking concrete steps like this to repair New Jersey’s crumbling infrastructure bolsters our economy, creates good jobs and keeps our region moving forward.”
