I am a strong supporter of the right to life. A first step in addressing this issue is my support and co-sponsorship of legislation to ensure that your tax dollars are not used to pay for subsidize abortions. The American people were initially promised that the President’s health care law would not pay for abortion services, but after the bill was passed and people were allowed to read it, the truth emerged that it amounts to the greatest expansion of taxpayer funded abortion in our nation’s history.

As a member of the bipartisan Congressional Pro-Life Caucus, I have joined with my like-minded colleagues in the House to repeal Obamacare’s expansion of abortion, to eliminate taxpayer funding for abortion, to protect the conscience rights of medical professionals and others who are pro-life and advance other principles to protect the unborn.
