Just Ask Joe: Donnelly Helps Henryville Resident Claim IRS Refund

Indianapolis, Ind.—U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly today released the latest installment of his “Just Ask Joe” video series, which highlights the many services available through Donnelly’s office for Hoosiers.  Jeff Stamper, a resident of Henryville, contacted Donnelly’s office seeking assistance with an issue he was having with the Internal Revenue Service.

After Jeff’s father passed away in 2013, Jeff inherited Stamper Tax & Accounting. Even though Jeff’s family sold the business, Stamper Tax & Accounting had a lien incorrectly placed on the business by the IRS.  Donnelly’s staff worked with the IRS to have the lien removed and Jeff received a refund from the IRS.

Donnelly encourages any Hoosier in need of assistance with a federal agency to contact his Indianapolis office at 317-226-5555.
