Washington, DC – Last night, the House voted to reject an anti-Israel resolution passed by the U.N. Security Council and call for its repeal. Upon passage, Congressman Adam Kinzinger (IL-16), a cosponsor of the bill, released the following statement:

“I’m proud to be a cosponsor of the resolution passed in the House that condemns the U.N. Security Council’s anti-Israel vote last week. With strong bipartisan support, the House acted to stand with our ally, Israel.

“Now more than ever, we must reassure our allies, and the global community, that we are here, ready to stand for democracy and freedom.”

Following the U.N. Security Council vote last week, where the Obama Administration abstained from vetoing the one-sided, anti-Israel resolution, Congressman Kinzinger penned an op-ed.  Published on FoxNews.com, the op-ed argues the need to support Israel as it relates to our own national security.  The full article can be found here and on the Congressman’s website.
