Our staff attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new state office building in downtown Logan, joining Governor Earl Ray Tomblin, Congressman Nick Rahall, Logan Mayor Serafino Nolletti and a host of state and local officials for the event. The building project was started in 2008 when Senator Manchin was still governor.

Our staff joined the Logan County Commission to preoare for its second annual countywide fish fry. The event drew several hundred Logan Countians last year. Every Logan County resident can fish and eat for free at the Chief Logan State Park lake during the fish fry, which is sponsored by the commission, which gives each municipality a donation.
