The economy is not working for hard-working Americans – millions are still struggling to find jobs and many of those who are employed have seen their wages stagnate. After decades of bureaucratic growth and an explosion of regulation and red tape, I’m working with my colleagues in Congress to get the federal government out of the way so that private-sector businesses can grow and create jobs. House Republicans are proposing legislation to reduce regulatory burdens, revise the tax code, increase competition, encourage entrepreneurship, maximize energy production and pay down the national debt. |
