Congressional Youth Advisory Council

The Congressional Youth Advisory Council of U. S. Representative Mike Conaway offers high school students an excellent opportunity to learn about government, collaborate and discuss various topics with fellow high school students, and provide service to the 11th Congressional District.
The CYAC program consists of two to four separate meetings, two in each academic semester. If accepted into the program, you must be able to attend meetings. *Note: All meeting dates are subject to possible changes in the Congressional calendar.
FUNDING:
The Congressional Youth Advisory Council is at NO COST to the participants. All materials needed within the program will be provided to the participants.
PLEASE NOTE: Transportation for the meetings and volunteer activities will not be covered for participants in the program.
ACADEMIC CREDIT:
Academic or community service credit may be available to you from your high school. Our office will provide proof of service at your request.
