~ 178,000 jobs added, unemployment rate drops to 4.6% ~

WASHINGTON – Joint Economic Committee (JEC) Ranking Member Carolyn B. Maloney (D-NY) issued the following statement Friday after the Department of Labor announced that the economy added 178,000 nonfarm jobs in November and the unemployment rate dropped to 4.6 percent.

“I hope that the Trump administration and Congressional Republicans will not undermine the great progress we have made by taking us back to the policies that led to the Great Recession in the first place. I will continue to fight for an economy that works for all Americans.”
