Acela TrainWASHINGTON, D.C.— The U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation will hold a hearing on April 17, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. titled, “The Future of Passenger Rail: What's Next for the Northeast Corridor?”  This hearing will focus on the current state and use of passenger rail on the Corridor, recent proposals and activities to enhance and expand rail service on the Corridor, and implications for future legislative action.
