Visiting D.C.

Planning a visit to our nation’s capital?

When you visit Washington, D.C., please feel free to stop by my office in the Cannon House Office Building. As you’re planning your trip, my staff will be happy to help arrange tours and provide information about visiting important sites, including:

  • U.S. Capitol
  • White House**
  • Library of Congress
  • Supreme Court
  • Pentagon
  • Bureau of Engraving and Printing
  • Kennedy Center

All tickets are provided constituents on a first come, first served basis. Due to the large number of visitors, please request them as early as possible in order to maximize your chances.

**Please note: White House tours must be requested a minimum of 21 days in advance. The White House Visitors Office books tours on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend submitting your request 4-6 months in advance. To submit your tour request, we will need detailed information such as:

  • Name
  • Birth Date
  • Place of Birth
  • Social Security Number

Please be prepared to provide this information for members of your tour party when we respond to your request.
