Information Regarding the 58th Presidential Inaugural Ceremonies at the U.S. Capitol

On Friday January 20, 2017, the next President-elect and Vice President-elect will be sworn in on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.

Consistent with previous inaugurations, all Members of the 115th Congress will receive a limited number of tickets for their constituents to attend the swearing-in ceremony. Tickets are free and are only available through Congressional offices.

I’ve decided to conduct a lottery for these tickets. To participate, please submit your request via the form on this page by Thursday, December 1st by noon PST and my office will contact you directly if you’ve been selected by Friday, December 16th.

Note that there is only one entry per household and each entry will be for two tickets. My office will inform those who are selected by December. Should your name be chosen, you will receive an email with instructions for claiming your ticket.

No ticket will be transferable. Each ticket holder is required to pick up tickets in person with a photo ID and sign for them in my Washington D.C. office before the Joint Address. For security reasons we will not able to mail tickets to anyone or make any special arrangements.

Public Information pertaining to the Inauguration is currently available at http://www.inaugural.senate.gov/
