In case you missed it, the Columbus Dispatch Editorial Board today wrote that Obamacare’s slow collapse is hurting Ohioans and limiting their health care choices.  Here are three key takeaways from their editorial highlighting Obamacare’s broken promises, and of course, a few notes from Tiberi.House.Gov pointing you to a better way for health care reform.

1. Key Quote: “[C]oncerns about the act’s flaws no longer can be dismissed as partisan obstructionism. 

“President Barack Obama made a number of false promises in selling his health-care reform:
› If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.
› If you like your plan, you can keep your plan.
› The cost of a typical family’s premiums will be cut by up to $2,500 per year.”

NOTE: In June, House Republicans introduced a better way for health care reform that would increase choices, reduce costs and provide more flexibility to patients to address their health care needs. 2. Key Quote: “Worse, Obamacare’s flaws have left consumers stranded. When Ohio’s InHealth Mutual co-op folded this year — because of the ACA’s untenable economic model, not mismanagement — thousands of ill people were hit with massive out-of-pocket costs as they had to start over with new insurers and fresh deductibles.”

3. Key Quote: “Congress and the next president should get to work quickly on a bipartisan effort to fix this law.”
