Superfund Sites

Congressman Frelinghuysen annually hosts an inspection of Superfund sites in Northern New Jersey. Today, there are 111 Superfund sites in New Jersey, the most in the nation. Since the Superfund program began in 1980, 33 sites in New Jersey have been removed from the National Priority List including the Pepe Field Site in Boonton in 2003 and the W.R. Grace Site in Wayne in 2012.
