2015 Senate Secret Santa
Every year, Sen. Franken hosts a bipartisan Senate Secret Santa to lighten the mood and to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season. This year marks his fifth time hosting the gathering, which he says brings some comity and good cheer to a place in need of both.
Sen. Franken remembers participating in Secret Santa while growing up in St. Louis Park, and he says it was a great way to give kids the chance to know one another and to create friendships.
This year, Sen. Franken picked Sen. Lisa Murkowski, a Republican from Alaska. He drew her a map of the United States and highlighted significant places in her life, like where she went to college and where she was born.
