OPM today released the Report on the Employment of Individuals with Disabilities in the Federal Executive Branch. Federal employees with disabilities represent 14.41 percent of the overall workforce, accounting for 264,844 people. This is more people with disabilities in Federal service, both in real terms and by percentage, than at any time in the past 35 years.

Whether its animal welfare, art and music programs, support for veterans or the environment, cancer research or soup kitchens, the issues Federal employees care about are varied and diverse. But Federal employees share a common goal: they care about the world we live in, and want to make it a better place.
