Order a Flag Flown Over the Capitol
Senator Franken is happy to help Minnesota organizations and individuals purchase flags that have been flown over the United States Capitol Building for special occasions such as retirements, birthdays or anniversaries. To request a flag please fill out the form below. You can choose the size and material of your flag in addition to whether you would like to have the flag flown over the United States Capitol Building. You can choose to have your flag flown in someone's honor on a specific date by filling out their information on the form.

Note: The Architect of the Capitol has increased the fee for flying flags over the Capitol. Effective October 1, 2016, the new fee will be $7.00. Standard flag prices and shipping fees will remain the same.

Note: Mail in requests to have your flag flown on a specific date can be sent no more than 6 months in advance. Please be aware that it will take approximately four to six weeks from the date of mailing to process a flag that will be flown/certified and shipped. It takes approximately three weeks for flags that are simply purchased and shipped.
