58th Presidential Inauguration

Inauguration Tickets

Thank you for your interest in attending the 58th Presidential Inaugural Ceremonies at the U.S. Capitol.  The 45th President of the United States will be sworn in on Friday, January 20, 2017.

Our office is still waiting for more details from the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC), however we know that U.S. Senator Mike Enzi will have a limited amount of tickets available. If you would like any tickets please email Kaite Krell at inauguration@enzi.senate.gov with the subject line “Inauguration Tickets," the number of tickets you are requesting, your address, phone number and best way to contact you.

We will update this page with more information as it becomes available.

Other Considerations

If you are planning to travel to Washington, D.C., during the time of the Inauguration, there are a few things to consider. Make travel arrangements as soon as possible, as most flights and hotels will fill quickly. Keep in mind that this event is historically cold and wet. The crowds will be very large, and guests will likely be outside for at least four hours. While a full list of prohibited items has not been published, food, beverages, large bags (including diaper bags), and strollers have not been permitted in ticketed areas. Because of the dense crowds, mobility is likely to be a challenge.  Please take these challenges into consideration when planning your trip.

It is also possible to attend the Inaugural Parade, however it is generally not possible to attend the Parade and the Inauguration so please factor this into your planning.

For other tourism ideas feel free to visit D.C.’s tourism website at www.washington.org.
